Arches National Park is the park of the walking trails. There are many of them
around and most are accessible for easy hiking. The low scale
of difficulty is making Arches NP the ideal place for a family
fun. In order to get to Arches National Park you have to drive
a few miles north of Moab and turn east following the signs.
You have to stop at the visitor center, pay your entrance fee
and don't forget about the maps and written information. Next
climb up the steep road from the visitor center and your first
stop will be the Park Avenue Viewpoint. From, here you can progress
to various points of the park and take your hikes at your will.
All the distances are marked on the park maps so consider how
much time each hike will take. If you don't have the time or
skills drive by car and enjoy the extraordinary scenery of the park.
