rivers, scenic trails, adventure escapades and wilderness. North
East Utah is also a place of rich history and traditions. The territory
of North East Utah stretches from Interstate I-70 north and from
I-15 all the way east to the Colorado State border. You can make
your home base in Vernal and from here the North East of Utah is
wide open for you. When you are in Vernal you have to visit the
Utah Field House of Natural History State Park Museum. From here
you can move in all directions and explore the whole area. NorthEast Utah is a rich mining area. Various mines are scattered all
over the mountains and hills of the North East. In a winter you
will find here an abundance of ski hills, winter cabins and resorts.
Whatever part of the year you are here there is always something
to do. Stay outdoor and enjoy the experience of the NorthEast.
