The
Middle Coast is in between Coos Bay on the south and Newport on
the north. This part of the Coast is marked by the famous Oregon
Dunes and beautiful coast towns, villages, small harbors and ports.
The coast line is never the same. From quiet, almost flat beaches
to rugged rocks and steep hills the coast changes its face all the
time. Seeing the map you may think, you can make the coast in a
few hours. Don't count on that. The enchantment of the Ocean will
catch up with you instantly and from then on you will be stopping
frequently, enjoying the atmosphere of the coastal towns, talk to
the people and most of all, just be there. Stop by stop, State Park
by State Park you will become part of the coast and coming back
frequently.
