County was established as a County in 1895. It is located in northern
Arizona between the Apache County and Coconino County. At the north
it borders with the State of Utah. Almost two third of Navajo County
is an Indian Reservation land. The largest town is Kayenta located
a short distance from the entrance to Monument Valley. The main
industry of Navajo County is tourism followed by mining, timber
production and manufacturing. Navajo County is a prime destination
